4 - 5 Years

Pre-K is a stage of confident interaction and growing independence. Children follow directions, take initiative, and engage meaningfully in both play and learning experiences.
As self-control becomes more consistent, children are better able to manage their behavior, build positive peer relationships, and participate actively in group settings. Educators support this growth by encouraging responsibility, cooperation, and confidence.
Academic readiness continues to expand through early concepts in letters, numbers, and math, along with thinking skills such as sorting, patterns, and relationships. Children also develop executive functioning skills, including focus, planning, and self-regulation, creating a strong foundation for reading, writing, and communication.
Through a balance of structured learning and purposeful play, children are well prepared for a successful transition to kindergarten.
